Reasons for Seeking a Second Opinion
It is normal when we receive unpleasant or unexpected news that we feel it must be confirmed by other means, perhaps in hope of more agreeable news. We also seek to share the news with our loved ones so they can know the situation we are facing and to hear the experiences of those who have already lived through something similar. That is when we seek what is understood as a second opinion.
