Abstract
Managing pain from diabetic neuropathy requires a good understanding of both how to deal with diabetes and prevent progression of its complications as well as how to implement factors that improve health and quality of life. In order to reach the goals of self-directed disease management and pain relief, patients suffering from painful diabetic neuropathy should take advantage of available resources when possible. These resources can ultimately provide the support needed to assist patients in reaching their health and quality of life goals. Here we point to a few trusted Web-based sources of information for patients with diabetes about pain and neuropathy.
