Postoperative Care


Steroid Replacement. Intravenous steroids (100 mg hydrocortisone IV qds) are maintained until diet is restarted and then converted to oral steroids (hydrocortisone, 20–20–10 mg/day, aiming to decrease by 5 mg/day every 3–5 days).
