15: Immunization Coverage – DTP3



Definition: The map shows the estimated coverage of the target population with three doses of the combined diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis vaccine (DTP3). This vaccine is cheap, readily available and has been part of WHO recommended infant immunization schedule since the Expanded Program on Immunization began in 1974. Therefore, DTP3 coverage is often used to monitor the overall performance of national immunization programs.
