An antimitotic agent that inhibits microtubule formation by interfering with nucleic acid synthesis.

Non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer.

Metabolized in the liver; excreted in urine and feces.

♦ Adult: 30 mg/m² IV once weekly. Adjust for hematologic toxicity, hepatic dysfunction, or concomitant use with cisplatin for non-small cell lung cancer.

♦ Pediatric: Safety and effectiveness not demonstrated.
