Mechanism of Action
Nitrosourea alkylating agent that prevents alkylation of DNA and RNA, which inhibits DNA, RNA, and protein synthesis.
Indications
Brain tumors, Hodgkin’s disease, non-small cell lung carcinoma, GI carcinoma, multiple myeloma.
Metabolism/Excretion
Metabolized in the liver; excreted in urine.
