GnRH agonist that binds to gonadotrophin-releasing hormone cell surface receptors in the pituitary.
Indications
Palliative treatment of prostate cancer; metastatic breast cancer; refractory ovarian and endometrial cancer; endometrio-sis; precocious puberty.

♦ Palliative prostate cancer: 1 mg (0.2 mL) every day subcutaneously.
♦ Metastatic breast cancer: 1 to 10 mg every day subcutaneously
